Job summary

Meijer in Michigan is seeking a Digital Clerk to drive quick, accurate curbside order fulfillment and a smooth pickup experience for customers.

You will greet customers warmly, handle orders efficiently, and work with store leaders to resolve issues while maintaining positive team relationships. Training will cover new technologies and procedures as part of your development at Meijer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• You must be able to perform physical tasks (lifting, standing).

Responsibilities

• Fulfill online curbside orders accurately and quickly.
• Greet customers courteously in person and on the phone.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and team members.
• Resolve customer concerns by partnering with leadership.
• Receive daily workflow and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
• Select items, scan/verify products, and bag items per standards.
• Store and stage orders following food safety guidelines.
• Keep the curbside area clean and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks to maintain smooth operations.
