Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Digital Clerk to fulfill online curbside orders, delivering quick, accurate pickups and friendly service. You’ll help create a smooth customer experience from order to pickup, using the curbside area efficiently and maintain high standards for accuracy and courtesy.

The role emphasizes training, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to learn new technologies. A high school diploma and at least one year in retail or cashier roles are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Comfort with lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet customers with a courteous, friendly attitude and respond to questions and needs.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members, and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders during the shift.
• Select items, scan/verify products, and bag items according to standards.
