Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Digital Clerk to fulfill online curbside orders, creating a smooth pickup experience from start to finish. You will help drive loyalty by delivering fast, accurate order fulfillment and friendly, helpful service at the curbside.

You’ll greet customers, handle payments, verify items, bag correctly, and keep the pickup area neat and compliant with safety standards. Training is provided for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• 1+ year of experience; retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized and dependable.
• Process-driven with ability to follow procedures efficiently.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, standing) for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable curbside service through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet customers with a courteous attitude and respond to questions.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, team members, and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership.
• Receive daily workflow and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
• Select items, scan/verify products, bag items using standards.
• Store and stage orders while following food safety guidelines.
• Keep curbside area clean and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
