Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Digital Clerk to fulfill customers' online curbside orders with quick, accurate service. You will greet customers, process orders, and maintain a smooth curbside operation, ensuring a friendly, efficient pickup experience from start to finish.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures efficiently.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet customers with a courteous, friendly attitude in person and on the phone.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members, store leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
• Select items, scan/verify products, and bag items using proper standards.
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
