Job summary

Blount Fine Foods Corp. is seeking a Packaging Technician II for the third shift (start time 12:30am) to keep the Cup Packout line running smoothly.

You will troubleshoot equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and coordinate with Maintenance and Leads to minimize downtime. Responsibilities include repairing breakdowns, making proactive line adjustments, training others on adjustments, and ensuring consistent product quality while adhering to sanitation and safety guidelines in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally in English.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret a wide range of technical instructions and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Repair of any breakdowns during normal production.
• Proactive line adjustments to prevent lost processing time.
• Continuous equipment preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Learn all aspects of processing line equipment and train others on adjustments.
• Identify product variation to set up machinery quickly.
• Proactive approach to reduce downtime between production runs.
• Maintain accountability for processing line downtime and related issues.
• Communicate effectively with Maintenance and Lead to resolve mechanical hindrances.
