Job summary

Golden State Foods is seeking a Cup Machine Operator on 2nd shift (2:00 PM–10:30 PM) to properly operate equipment with safety, quality, and efficiency in mind. You will maintain cleanliness of all equipment while supporting production targets.

Responsibilities include running multiple packaging systems, loading materials, adjusting settings for weights, and performing basic troubleshooting. Strong attention to logs and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Read and follow production documents and safety instructions.
• Record logs clearly and accurately.
• Communicate effectively with peers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Operate 6+ packaging systems (W25-1/2, Cryovac, L24, BIB, 12-up, 6-up fillers).
• Load film carts and rolls; monitor for continuous operation.
• Select appropriate packaging materials (boxes, labels, date coding).
• Adjust machine settings to target product weights.
• Execute standard changeovers with team to limit downtime.
• Perform minor mechanical troubleshooting independently.
• Document production data (logs, downtime, metal detection).
• Clean, rinse, sanitize equipment using COP/CIP methods.
• Follow safety protocols including lockout/tagout; identify hazards.
• Maintain compliance with food safety and quality standards.
