Job summary

The General Manager at Surcheros is the restaurant leader responsible for delivering an exceptional Guest experience and building an engaging workplace where Team Members love coming to work. You set the standard for culture, hospitality, and operational excellence, and you drive financial performance by coaching leaders and executing daily.

Lead all daily operations, ensure food safety and staffing, own P&L results, and build community through local partnerships and outreach.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in Fast Casual or Quick Service.
• Proven leadership experience managing high-performing teams.
• Experience with hiring, scheduling, coaching, and performance management.
• Strong understanding of restaurant financials including labor, food cost, and P&L management.
• Food Safety/ServSafe Certification (or ability to obtain).
• Proficient with restaurant technology and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel occasionally for meetings or training.

• Deliver an Exceptional Guest Experience: Champion genuine hospitality and memorable experiences; uphold food quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
• Drive Restaurant Operations: Lead daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and shift execution; maintain equipment, facilities, and appearance; work alongside the team.
• Own the Business: Take ownership of restaurant performance; focus on sales growth, profitability, labor, food cost, waste, inventory, scheduling, productivity, and cash handling.
• Build Your Community: Represent Surcheros in the local community; support schools and fundraising; execute Local Store Marketing; build relationships for brand growth.
