Job summary

Carris Reels is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to partner with employees and leaders across three shifts, promoting a culture based on ownership, safety, and teamwork. You will handle recruitment, onboarding, and HR guidance in multiple areas, while maintaining accurate personnel data and ensuring policy compliance.

The role requires 3+ years in HR within manufacturing, strong communication skills, and bilingual English/Spanish proficiency.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for people and a collaborative, accountable work style.
• 3+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• HR certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) preferred; OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a culture ambassador and promote shared ownership values.
• Partner with supervisors to provide HR guidance in employee relations, development, performance, and engagement.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment and retention including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Lead new hire orientation and onboarding programs.
• Conduct safety performance analysis and support EHS objectives.
