Job summary

Carris Reels is seeking a hands-on Human Resources Generalist to shape a performance-driven culture across our 3-shift operation in McKinney, TX. You will partner with supervisors to provide HR guidance and manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will maintain HR data, support benefits and leaves, and lead training that builds leadership capability and engagement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years HR experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred; certification is a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a culture ambassador, promoting ownership and shared success.
• Provide HR guidance across employee relations, performance, and engagement.
• Lead recruitment, interviews, and onboarding for long-term teams.
• Manage new hire orientation and onboarding expectations on teamwork, safety, and accountability.
• Conduct safety performance analysis and implement action plans.
• Maintain accurate HR data and coordinate with payroll for updates.
• Support benefits administration and leaves of absence in compliance.
• Facilitate leadership training, safety programs, and continuous improvement.
• Drive employee engagement through development, wellness, and community initiatives.
• Communicate policies consistently; be a trusted resource for staff and leaders.
