Job summary

Qualifications

Experience working with youth in programs; ability to plan, supervise and engage youth.
Knowledge and experience practicing cultural activities; understanding tribal culture.

Responsibilities

Implement daily activities and schedules; plan age-appropriate cultural activities and record snacks.
Meet daily with Site Manager and staff to prepare for shifts.
Lead activities to enhance health, emotional, social, intellectual, and physical development with a cultural focus.
Ensure the safety of the children at all times and enforce program rules.
Maintain professional relationships with children, parents, and co-workers with respect and dignity.
Exercise tact with confidential information and use guidance/discipline plan as needed.
Work independently and assist with special events and housekeeping duties.
