Job summary

Boys & Girls Club of the Omaha Tribe of Nebraska seeks a Youth Development Professional to implement cultural program activities and supervise youth participants. The role emphasizes healthy lifestyles, leadership, and building strong relationships with caring adults.

The ideal candidate will lead culturally grounded activities, ensure safety, enforce policies, and coordinate with site staff to deliver structured programming for school-aged youth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; college credit hours in education or child/youth development preferred.
• CPR/First Aid Certification (or within 6 months of hire) and Driver's License preferred.
• Experience or strong desire to work with school-aged children in a programmed setting; knowledge of cultural activities.

Responsibilities

• Implement daily activities and schedules; track attendance; provide age-appropriate activities and cultural projects; prepare and record snacks.
• Lead activities to develop health, emotional, social, intellectual and physical skills with a cultural focus.
• Ensure children's safety at all times and enforce rules per policy and procedures.
• Maintain professional relationships with children, parents, and staff; communicate clearly with all stakeholders.
