Dig Inn is hiring for a Chef-in-Training in our restaurant team. Earn $17-$18/hour depending on experience, plus $2-$3/hour in tips, and more benefits. The role offers a pathway from kitchen prep to leadership in a fast-paced, scratch-based kitchen.

You will learn across stations, develop culinary skills, and join a mission-driven team focused on real good food and community. Training provided and opportunities for advancement are available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prep, mix, and cook vegetables, proteins, grains using recipes as a guide.
• Gain exposure to garde manger, grill, roast, market line, guest concierge and more.
• Speak to guests about menu offerings, seasonality, and ingredients to craft scratch-made meals.
• Support the team during peak and off-peak service by pitching in wherever needed.
• Multi-task and move in the kitchen for extended periods.
