Job summary

Legends Global in Long Beach is seeking a Culinary Supervisor to provide administrative and operational support across the venue teams. You will work under the Executive Chef and/or Sous Chef to oversee food production, kitchen operations, sanitation, and stewarding while guiding a culinary team.

This on-site role offers an hourly rate of $30.00–$32.00 with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to demonstrate flexibility and quick adaptation to changes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and handle heavy carts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high sanitation and cleanliness standards in the kitchen.
• Support Kitchen Manager to achieve top Health Department ratings.
• Assist with training on food safety, sanitation, and accident prevention.
• Participate in recipe and technique development for quality presentation.
• Ensure consistency of food quality by following recipes and methods.
• Monitor and report hazardous conditions or unsafe practices.
• Collaborate with Kitchen Manager on production, menu development, and pricing.
• Taste and check food items prior to service to ensure quality.
