Job summary

Apploi in Charlton, MA is seeking a Culinary Stock Receiver Associate to manage inbound food and non-food shipments for the Culinary Services department. You will ensure proper labeling, storage, FIFO rotations, and accurate per-delivery checks to protect safety and quality.

You will also support daily inventories, assist with meal service as needed, and act as the point of contact for product availability and location within par levels.

Qualifications

• Experience or education culinary or related work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives and accounts for all goods, ensuring accurate, wholesome delivery with proper labels and dates.
• Communicates product availability, quality, and location; answers questions regarding orders.
• Evaluate deliveries for spoilage, damage, and accuracy of delivery to order to invoice.
• Collect invoices promptly and verify accuracy with supervisor.
• Performs daily inventory to ensure accurate stock levels for ordering.
• Maintain organized storage with FIFO rotations and ensure safety of customers.
• Serve as resource for Culinary Services team: retrieve supplies, make deliveries, inform staff of par levels and rotation needs.
• Perform detailed cleaning throughout kitchens to maintain standards.
• Assist with serving meals to residents as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisory staff.
