Job summary

Levy Sector is hiring a Culinary Receiver/Stockroom Associate to manage receiving, inspecting, inventorying, and distributing food and supplies for back-of-house operations. You will ensure accurate deliveries, proper storage, and timely distribution to culinary venues.

Responsibilities include labeling, storing, and maintaining inventory records, adhering to safety standards, and supporting events. This role requires physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and flexibility in scheduling,

Qualifications

• Previous receiving, warehouse, inventory, food service, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and work in refrigerated and storage environments.
• Basic math and inventory tracking skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and event days.
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect food deliveries for quality, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.
• Verify quantities against purchase orders, invoices, and packing slips.
• Properly label, date, and store products following FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
• Maintain organized storage areas, coolers, freezers, and dry storage locations.
• Distribute products to kitchen and operational areas as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages, overages, or damaged goods.
• Maintain accurate receiving and inventory records.
• Assist with inventory counts, audits, and stock rotation.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Support kitchen and warehouse teams during event setup, breakdown, and operational needs.
• Operate pallet jacks, carts, and other receiving equipment safely.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
