Job summary

Sinceri Senior Living is seeking a team-focused Food Services Assistant to support the daily operation of the Food Services Department. You will assist in ordering, preparation, delivery, and sanitation to ensure a safe and welcoming dining experience for residents.

You will collaborate with the Food Services Director, schedule staff, and help maintain compliance with health regulations while promoting a positive environment for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Relate positively to residents and families, and work cooperatively with staff and vendors.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and the public.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance.
• Meet state health requirements.
• Obtain Food Handlers Permit as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Schedule staff under the Food Services Director and orient new staff; keep areas clean, safe, and orderly.
• Prepare food in a nutritious, appetizing manner and provide snacks for special dietary needs.
• Attend all required in-service training.
• Ensure compliance with regulations regarding residents’ rights.
