Heritage Senior Living is seeking a dependable Culinary Assistant to join our dining services team. You’ll assist with food preparation, meal service, and keeping the kitchen running smoothly while getting to know our residents.

No formal culinary experience required; we value a positive attitude and commitment to great service for older adults. You’ll collaborate with a friendly team to create enjoyable dining experiences and maintain high cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Previous food preparation, restaurant, hospitality, or healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
• Passion for serving older adults.
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and meal service.
• Serve meals and beverages to residents and guests.
• Take individual food orders as needed.
• Prepare and deliver room-service trays.
• Maintain clean, organized dining and kitchen areas.
• Assist with inventory and storing food deliveries.
• Help with special events and programs.
• Follow sanitation and infection-control practices.
