Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare meals per approved menus and recipes for residents with special dietary needs. You will supervise dietary staff in the absence of the Dining Services Director, maintain safety, cleanliness, and accurate food temperatures, and contribute to efficient kitchen operations.

The position requires dining services experience, Serv-Safe certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days), and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must have dining services experience.
• Must be Serv-Safe certified or willing to complete within 60 days.
• Basic reading/writing and arithmetic needed for portioning and record-keeping.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present meals per approved menus and recipes.
• Supervise dietary staff in the absence of management.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen at all times.
• Monitor temperatures and food safety standards twice daily.
• Assist in training new dietary staff and attend required meetings.
• Support flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
