Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Cook to prepare meals according to approved menus and supervise dietary staff when needed. You will maintain a clean kitchen, monitor temperatures, and ensure safety and quality in meal preparation for residents.

The role requires dining services experience, Serv-Safe certification within 60 days of hire, and the ability to read, write, and perform basic calculations. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Must have dining services experience.
• Must be Serv-Safe certified, or commit to certification within 60 days of hire.
• Must have basic reading, writing and arithmetic abilities.
• Must be able to work in a team and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals per approved menus and recipes.
• Supervise dietary staff in the Dining Services Director's absence.
• Maintain clean, safe kitchen and equipment; monitor temperatures.
• Assist in training new dietary staff and attend required in-services.
