Sysco Ventura, Inc. is seeking a Culinary Specialist to grow new business by delivering targeted culinary strategies and expert category management.

You will represent Sysco at culinary events, lead training, and collaborate with sales teams to close opportunities, while maintaining certifications and customer relationships. The role may supervise kitchen assistants or culinary interns and requires strong culinary knowledge, sales aptitude, and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED and 3+ years executive chef experience in foodservice.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent culinary degree, 3+ years of foodservice sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute targeted culinary strategies to achieve regional goals and profitable growth.
• Coordinate with Director of Business Resources; leverage data to identify opportunities for business reviews.
• Collaborate with sales teams to identify customer challenges and deliver solutions to grow customer business.
• Track activities in Salesforce and collaborate on opportunities toward team selling.
• Manage test kitchen/culinary center operations, including sanitation and equipment upkeep.
