Job summary

Wise Path Recovery Centers is seeking a hands-on Culinary Services Operations Manager to lead dining programs at Camp Baer and Westover/Morgantown. You will oversee startup, menu planning, staffing, and cost controls while ensuring high food-safety standards in a two-facility operation.

The role focuses on building strong culinary teams, managing vendor relations, and delivering a welcoming, therapeutic dining experience for residents across Morgantown-area facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience directly managing a full-service dining facility
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience
• Certified Food Protection Manager credential or ability to obtain required certification within 30 days of hire
• Experience managing food budgets, purchasing, and vendor relationships
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, inventory management, and kitchen operations
• Experience scheduling and supervising food service staff
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends, holidays, or nontraditional hours based on operational needs

Responsibilities

• Oversee food service operations supporting Camp Baer and Westover/Morgantown facilities
• Lead startup and organization of Camp Baer dining program and ongoing dining at Morgantown location
• Maintain kitchen workflows, sanitation, storage, and service to ensure safety and quality
• Develop consistent food service standards across locations and monitor meal quality
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop kitchen and dining team members
• Manage purchasing, inventory, and vendor relationships while controlling costs
• Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to meet dietary needs and budget targets
• Ensure compliance with food safety, documentation, and audits
