Job summary

The Waterford at Fort Worth is seeking a qualified Culinary Services Cook to plan, prepare and serve nutritious meals in a bustling senior living community. You will support the Culinary Services Director and help maintain a clean, efficient dining operation for residents.

Responsibilities include serving meals for assigned shifts, ensuring quality, safety, and sanitation, and coordinating with the Dining Services team to deliver excellent resident experiences. Benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must possess Food Service Sanitation Certificate as per State/Local requirements.
• Experience in volume meal preparation for large groups.
• Some supervisory experience preferred; ability to read recipes, work in a team, handle multiple tasks and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Plans, prepares, and serves attractive, nutritious meals in an organized, timely, and sanitary manner.
• Assists the Culinary Services Director in maintaining an efficient Dining Services department.
• Prepares and serves meals for assigned shifts.
• Maintains standards for dining services to Residents including service delivery and cleanliness.
• Cleans after preparation and service; maintains area, pots and equipment.
• Ensures leftovers are covered, labeled, dated and stored properly.

Culinary Services CookResponsibilities include:

• Prepares and serves meals for assigned shifts.
• Maintains standards for dining services to the Residents to include efficient meal service delivery, customer service and cleanliness of the dining room and kitchen.
• Clean after preparation and service; work area, pots and equipment.
• Ensures all leftovers are covered, labeled, dated and stored in the proper place.

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must possess Food Service Sanitation Certificate as per State/Local requirements.
• High Experience and/or knowledge of volume meal preparation and serving for large groups.
• Some supervisory experience preferred. Ability to read and understand recipes, work in a team environment, work flexible shifts, handle multiple tasks at one time and communicate effectively verbally and/or in writing
