Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking a part-time Culinary Services Aide to support meal preparation and service in our facility. The role supports the cook, follows policy, and helps maintain high food service standards while respecting resident dignity and preferences.

The position offers a 10:00am-6:30pm schedule with opportunities for growth within Monarch's network of skilled nursing and assisted living facilities in Minnesota.

Qualifications

• Must have a desire and commitment to work with geriatric residents and understand their special needs.
• Must qualify for employment, after criminal background study, per guidelines of the Minnesota Department of Human Services.

Responsibilities

• The Culinary Services Aide must assist the cook in the preparation and service of meals meeting scheduled mealtimes.
• Will follow established policies and procedures for the Culinary Services Department and promote food service standards through cost, quality, and quantity controls.
• Provides meal service that meets the desires of the resident, by allowing as much choice as possible and giving food service that preserves the element of personal dignity.
