Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking a part-time Culinary Services Aide to support the cook in meal preparation and service for residents in Minnesota. You will follow established policies and promote food service standards while ensuring meals meet scheduled times and residents’ preferences.

Qualifications

• Must have a desire and commitment to work with geriatric residents and understand their special needs.
• Must qualify for employment, after criminal background study, per guidelines of the Minnesota Department of Human Services.

Responsibilities

• Assist the cook in the preparation and service of meals meeting scheduled mealtimes.
• Follow established policies and procedures for the Culinary Services Department and promote food service standards through cost, quality, and quantity controls.
• Provides meal service that meets the desires of the resident, by allowing as much choice as possible and giving food service that preserves the element of personal dignity.
