Job summary

Sysco Allentown is seeking a Culinary Specialist to drive new business, lead culinary strategies, and engage customers with innovative CatMan products. You will represent Sysco at culinary events and collaborate with sales teams to close opportunities and grow case volume.

The role requires culinary expertise, strong communication, and proficiency with CRM tools. Onsite work in Allentown, with cross-functional collaboration across regions and external events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3+ years executive chef experience in foodservice preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Culinary or related field preferred; 3+ years foodservice sales experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop targeted culinary strategies to achieve regional goals and drive profitable sales growth.
• Coordinate with Director of Business Resources to identify opportunities for business reviews.
• Collaborate with sales teams to address customer needs and deliver solutions that grow customer business.
• Track activities and results using Salesforce; close sales through team selling.
• Manage test kitchen/culinary center operations, sanitation, and equipment upkeep.
