Job summary

Sur La Table is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in New York to support the General Manager in achieving sales goals, store operations, and employee performance. This role will lead by example, coach team members, and ensure excellent customer service across the store floor.

You will help manage staffing, execute sales initiatives, and maintain SOP adherence while upholding company policies and standards.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of progressively responsible retail management experience.
• Experience training and developing team members.
• Proficient with POS systems and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Models and holds employees accountable to customer service standards.
• Supports staffing to meet store needs and seasonal fluctuations.
• Coaches employees and provides feedback to improve performance.
• Drives sales initiatives and directs selling activities as Manager on Duty.
• Maintains accurate employee records and inventory procedures.
• Adheres to SOPs and company policies across operations.
