Sur La Table is seeking a General Manager to lead both culinary and retail teams, driving exceptional guest experiences and store performance. You will oversee operations, staffing, training and merchandising while aligning with brand standards and safety policies.

The role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a passion for community engagement. The GM will develop teams, manage budgets, and deliver best-in-class service through ongoing coaching and performance reviews.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a culinary or specialty environment.
• Proven track record of achieving sales and motivating high performing teams.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, develop and retain a high-performing team to meet business needs.
• Lead, coach, and inspire associates to exceed performance expectations and maintain a positive culture.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and create development plans for individuals and teams.
• Represent Sur La Table’s brand and culture by creating memorable customer experiences and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Develop and implement strategies to exceed sales and financial goals across culinary and retail operations.
• Monitor key performance metrics daily and act on opportunities to optimize store performance.
• Oversee daily store operations, ensure policy compliance and inventory accuracy.
• Maintain store safety, cleanliness, and proper records; ensure timely maintenance and repairs.
