Job summary

Wonder is seeking a Production Assistant Operations Manager to lead daily culinary production in a high-volume facility in Swedesboro, NJ. You will drive on-floor leadership, coordinate across culinary production, warehouse staging, and outbound distribution, and ensure safety, quality, and operational excellence.

You will coach production teams, optimize labor and capacity, and escalate barriers with the Operations Manager to sustain performance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• At least two years of lead or supervisory experience in food production/manufacturing.
• Experience coaching teams and managing performance in fast-paced environments.
• Knowledge of food safety requirements (HACCP or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead production teams to ensure safe, efficient workflows across prep, cook, assembly, packaging, and staging.
• Coordinate production schedules, batch quantities and timelines to meet quality and shipment targets.
• Coach and develop production associates; manage labor deployment and shift coverage.
• Ensure strict food safety, quality, and compliance across production areas.
• Collaborate with QA, Safety, and Warehouse teams for handoffs and continuous improvement.
