Wonder in Swedesboro, NJ is seeking a Sanitation Assistant Operations Manager to oversee sanitation operations in a high-volume food production and distribution environment. You will lead frontline sanitation teams, coordinate daily staffing, verify sanitation tasks, and partner with Operations, Food Safety & Quality, Safety, Maintenance, and People/HR.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement, with exposure to production equipment and cold storage.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of frontline leadership in sanitation or related ops.
• Experience leading teams in fast-paced production environments.
• Knowledge of sanitation, chemical handling, and cleaning equipment preferred.
• Understanding of HACCP/GMP and workplace safety preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead sanitation teams to complete cleaning activities safely and on time.
• Coordinate sanitation schedules based on production needs.
• Ensure tasks follow SSOPs, SOPs, and food safety requirements.
• Verify completion before areas return to production.
• Coach frontline staff and manage attendance and staffing.
• Partner with Operations, Food Safety, Safety, Maintenance, and HR.
