Job summary

The University of North Dakota's Dining Services is seeking a part-time, non-benefited Student Employee to assist in the kitchen by preparing fruit and vegetables, following recipes like sandwiches and salads, and supporting daily operations.

You'll work with full-time staff to meet the dining services' needs, follow Best Food Practices Safety policies, maintain equipment, and perform other duties as assigned, including meat preparation; eligibility is limited to UND students and no visa

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for 3–4 hours.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to handle and prepare meat products in a commercial kitchen.
• Compliance with all food safety and sanitation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepares fruit and vegetables.
• Follows and prepares recipes such as sandwiches, salads and more.
• Collaborates with full-time staff to fulfill the needs of Dining Services.
• Follows Best Food Practices Safety Policies.
• Correctly uses and maintains all equipment provided to complete tasks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Prepares and cuts meats.
