Job summary

University of North Dakota is seeking a part-time Dining Services Student Employee to join the campus dining team. The position is non-benefited and restricted to UND students, offering 10-20 hours per week at $15.00 hourly with non-exempt status.

You will greet customers, process payments, manage the Odyssey system, help with meal changes, answer questions, enforce policies, and keep the dining room clean.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for 3–4 hours.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Ability to handle and prepare meat products in a commercial kitchen.
• Compliance with all safety and sanitation requirements including hairnet.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and accept payments.
• Operate Odyssey privilege control system.
• Assist with board meal changes and cash transactions.
• Answer phone and student questions.
• Enforce Dining Services policies.
• Relieve Dining Room Attendants for breaks.
• Wash tables and keep dining room clean.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Other duties as assigned.
