Job summary

ARAMARK is seeking a Food Prep Worker II to assist cooks and managers by preparing ingredients and maintaining sanitation in line with recipes and production guidelines. The role emphasizes safety, accurate measurements, and teamwork to support guest service.

Responsibilities include setting up stations, preparing ingredients, portioning food, and ensuring proper storage and cleanliness while upholding Aramark safety policies.

Qualifications

• Previous food prep experience preferred
• Knowledge of various food prep methods, proper knife handling, and food safety regulations such as proper food handling, sanitation, and storage preferred
• Must be able to obtain required food safety certification
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
• Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
• Safely utilizes a variety of utensils including knifes
• Arranges, garnishes, and portions food according to established guidelines
• Properly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
• Ensures security of company assets
• This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
