Job summary

Georgia Tech is seeking a food service team member to assist in all aspects of food preparation as part of the culinary team. You may work Front of the House or Back of the House and interact regularly with kitchen staff and customers.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 2–3 years of related experience, with SERV Safe certification preferred. The position offers full-time hours in Atlanta, GA, with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two to three years of job-related experience preferred.
• SERV Safe Certification preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and follows daily prep sheets and recipes; ensures quality and safety.
• Assists with food production records and daily/weekly production sheets.
• Contributes to training and development of new staff.
• Keeps workstation clean, organized, and sanitized; uses FIFO and proper labeling.
• Maintains inventory levels and communicates shortages to supervisor.
• Records leftovers and stores according to safety standards.
