Job summary

Cascadia Healthcare is hiring a Culinary Manager to lead the Culinary Department, ensuring quality food service and nutritional care for residents. You will collaborate with the Registered Dietitian, supervise staff, and manage budgets and menus across all dining operations.

The role requires strong leadership, adherence to regulations, and hands-on oversight of daily meal preparation, service, and training. Excellent communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Degree in dietetic technology, dietetics, culinary arts, or foodservice management preferred.
• ServSafe Food Safety Certification required.
• Two years’ experience in large quantity food preparation.
• One year supervisory experience; long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, organizes, implements, evaluates, supervises, and directs the Culinary Department in line with policies and regulations.
• Routinely inspects and evaluates the department and develops action plans for improvements.
• Participates in performance improvement programs and facility surveys; supports dietitians in menu planning and care.
• Ensures adherence to food safety, sanitation, and nutrition standards across all dining locations.
