Qualifications

• Three years experience in food service operations and/or hospitality management.
• Supervisory experience in a long-term care facility, hospital, or related medical facility preferred.
• Knowledge of dietary practices and federal/state regulations governing life plan communities.
• Strong budgeting, sanitation, and quality control knowledge.
• Proficiency with Windows, Word, Excel; POS and diet management software.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and directs the Culinary and Nutritional Services Department and its service activities.
• Ensures timely meal service and supervises preparation of meals per planned menus.
• Maintains quality assurance and sanitation standards across the department.
• Supervises staff, schedules, and develops training for ongoing performance.
• Manages menus, budgets, and records using software; coordinates with other departments.
