Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Wisconsin Dells is seeking a Lead Cook to contribute to the resort's dining program by consistently and promptly preparing production, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food quality.

As part of the culinary leadership team, you will work with the chef and staff to supervise kitchen operations, ensure safety, training, and exceptional guest experiences while upholding the Promise to Lead with Love.

Formación

• 2+ years' experience in a high-volume restaurant or other dining venue working in varied kitchen positions
• 1 year of culinary supervisory experience in food service, fine dining, or restaurant preferred
• Willingness to work flexible and long hours, including weekends and holidays
• A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others
• Must be able to work in a stationary position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)

Responsabilidades

• Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant's recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards
• Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurants and culinary preventative maintenance programs
• Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and administer prompt, fair, and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules, and procedures
• Assist in preparing all required paperwork, including forms, reports, and schedules in an organized and timely manner
• Adhere to HACCP guidelines to ensure efficient, safe, and sanitary food production, preparation, and presentation
