Job summary

AuPairKids at a resort near Atlanta, GA offers culinary internships and trainee programs designed to build hands-on skills from garden-to-table growing to high-volume food service. Interns learn plating, regional American cuisine, and menu preparation under supervision.

Applicants should be hospitality management or culinary arts students or recent graduates within 12 months, or hold a degree with enough experience for the trainee track. Advanced English and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Hospitality management or culinary arts undergrad/grad students or recent graduates within 12 months of graduation.
• Trainee path requires a degree in hospitality management or culinary arts and 1+ year of related work experience, or 5+ years as a career professional.
• Advanced English is required and candidates must be able to communicate effectively with clients and hotel staff.

Responsibilities

• Learn garden-to-table growing and cooking methods.
• Assist in preparing food for service (e.g., chop vegetables, butcher meat, or prepare sauces).
• Practice plating techniques.
• Gain regional knowledge of American cuisine, ingredients, and culinary styles.
• Assist in preparing menu items under supervision.
• Advance management skills and supervisory duties.
