Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the CSRA seeks an Instructor to educate culinary students under the Director of Culinary Hospitality Operations. You will present yourself as a subject matter expert and promote a positive, interactive learning environment.

The role involves coordinating with program leaders, recruiting new students, managing classrooms to meet Serv-Safe standards, and delivering hands-on and lecture-based instruction aligned with curriculum and assessments.

Qualifications

• Hold at least an associate’s degree in culinary arts or a bachelor’s degree with culinary credentials.
• Minimum five years’ supervisory experience in a food service operation, with 2–3 years as a senior supervisor.
• Teaching experience in a post-secondary culinary program preferred.
• Current or pending certification through the American Culinary Federation (CEC/CCC or CEPC/CWPC) within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Educate culinary students under the Director of Culinary Hospitality Operations.
• Maintain compliance with Serv-Safe standards and safety regulations.
• Assist in recruitment events and student orientation in collaboration with Academics and Admissions.
• Deliver classroom and lab instruction with effective assessment of student work.
• Maintain attendance, grades, and communications with the Student Record System.
