Job Title: Culinary Arts Adjunct Instructor, PS/PS
Compensation Details: $1650.00 PER 3 HOUR CREDIT COURSE
This position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact by preparing students for successful careers in the culinary arts profession through hands-on, real-world training in a supportive learning environment. Under general supervision, the instructor will prepare lesson plans for classroom instruction for credited technical/occupational courses. The instructor will prepare standardized course syllabi using a provided template and assess students’ satisfactory progress based on established course grading requirements. This instructor will teach courses for the culinary arts program while maintaining knowledge of current trends and developments in the field. The instructor will provide instruction in the theory and practical applications of the culinary arts profession.
This job operates in a professional classroom/lab environment. This role routinely uses standard office/classroom/lab equipment and technologies.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. This is an on-campus adjunct instructor position. Faculty must respond to all emails and requests within 24 hours Monday-Thursday and within 48 hours on weekends (Friday - Sunday).
Travel to other campuses may be required to attend meetings, trainings, and professional development.
