Job summary

Compass Group USA, in East Rutherford, NJ, is offering a paid Hospitality Internship through the FLIK program with New York Giants. The role targets Culinary Interns currently enrolled in Hospitality Management or Culinary Arts programs.

Pay is $18 per hour and schedules are to be discussed; interns gain hands-on training and may rotate through events, dining, and front-of-house tasks. Candidate must be enrolled in college and available 20–40 hours weekly; college credit is not required but

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a college/university and pursuing a Hospitality Management and/or Culinary Arts degree.
• Must be available to work 20 - 40 hours a week based on business needs & internship requirements.
• College credit is not required, but we will provide appropriate documentation if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Duties may include setting up and/or closing events or dining halls, cashier functions, coffee / barista and welcoming guests.
• Provide consistently friendly and courteous service to guests.
• Support catering events by setting up, arranging buffet stations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and managing cleanup.
• Assist with marketing tasks, including signage, seasonal decorations, and food holiday communications.
• Adhere to platinum service customer service standards.
• Interns should expect to contribute individually and as a team member to support Food service/Hospitality Services.
