Job summary

Morrison Living, a Compass Group USA company, seeks a Chef Manager/Director to support training initiatives, food programs, events, account openings and refreshes with account Chefs and team members.

The role emphasizes menu development, cost controls, local sourcing, food safety, and strong communication. This is an opportunity to contribute to hospitality excellence within a dynamic culinary team.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree or comparable four-year culinary development experience.
• 5 years of relevant culinary experience; at least 1 year of culinary management experience.
• ServSafe Certification required.
• Working knowledge of basic kitchen operations and food safety standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintains high standards for all Food Programs, safety and food safety.
• Demonstrates proficiency in menu development, cost controls, purchasing and inventory with a focus on sourcing and utilizing local production.
• Utilizes knowledge of catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
