Job summary

The Chef Manager/Director at Morrison Living will be responsible for assisting in training initiatives, food programs, account openings and refreshes with account Chefs and team members.

You will uphold high standards for food safety, menu development, cost controls, purchasing and inventory, with a focus on sourcing locally and delivering quality culinary experiences. Join Morrison Living to lead and mentor teams in hospitality excellence across sites.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant culinary experience and at least 1 year in culinary management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of P&L accountability and contract–managed service experience desirable.
• Culinary degree or equivalent development experience and ServSafe certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintains high standards for all implemented Food Programs, workplace safety and food safety.
• Demonstrates proficiency in menu development, cost controls, purchasing and inventory with a focus on local sourcing.
• Utilizes knowledge of food and catering trends with emphasis on quality, production, sanitation, cost controls, and presentation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
