Job summary

Morrison Living in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Chef Manager/Director to lead training initiatives, oversee food programs, and support account openings and refreshes with account Chefs and teams. This role focuses on culinary excellence, cost controls, menu development, and coordinating with local suppliers.

Qualified candidates bring a culinary degree or equivalent, 5 years of culinary experience with at least 1 year in management, and ServSafe certification.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree or equivalent four-year culinary development experience.
• 5 years of culinary experience with at least one year in culinary management.
• Working knowledge of basic kitchen operations and food safety standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Train initiatives, food programs, and events with account Chefs and team members.
• Maintain high standards for all food programs, workplace safety and food safety.
• Develop menus, manage cost controls, purchasing and inventory with focus on local sourcing.
• Apply trends in food and catering; ensure quality, production, sanitation, and presentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
