Job summary

SRIM (SRI Management) seeks a dining services helper to enhance our residents' dining experience in Artful Dining. You will assist with food preparation, serve residents, and maintain a clean dining room and kitchen environment, ensuring a safe and dignified atmosphere for residents and their families.

The role emphasizes teamwork, effective communication, and adherence to sanitation, safety, and HIPAA guidelines while supporting training for new staff and participating in mandatory trainings.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation according to the established menu.
• Serve residents in the dining room at breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Maintain a clean, safe dining room and kitchen environment.
• Follow sanitation, safety, and cleaning schedules.
• Comply with HIPAA regulations and protect resident privacy.
• Assist with training of new dining services staff when necessary.
• Demonstrate a positive and respectful attitude with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
