Job summary

Hotel Bardo Savannah is seeking dependable and motivated cooks to join our culinary team. This onsite role covers prep, pantry, production, grill, sauté, banquet, or line cooking, with level decided by experience and skill.

You will work closely with the Chef and Sous Chef to prepare high-quality food, maintain an organized kitchen, and deliver an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Onsite role with great team benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous culinary or food preparation experience in a restaurant, hotel, or resort.
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to follow recipes and established culinary standards.
• Attention to detail, organization and time management.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to recipes and service standards.
• Support kitchen prep, production, and station setup as assigned.
• Maintain food quality, portioning, temperature, and timing during service.
• Communicate needs with culinary leadership about prep and inventory.
• Keep workstation clean, organized and fully stocked.
• Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, labeling and kitchen safety rules.
• Assist other stations and team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Demonstrate reliability, professionalism and willingness to learn.
