Green Lake Conference Center is seeking full-time and part-time Cooks to join as a Dining Services Team Member. The role covers hot and cold food preparation, maintaining quality, and ensuring sanitation and safety for an excellent guest dining experience. Pay ranges from $17-$22 per hour.

The position emphasizes teamwork and flexible schedules in a fast-paced kitchen. Qualified applicants should be at least 16, have kitchen or food service experience if possible, and be able to lift up to 50

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Experience in kitchen operations or food service is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and coordinate with Dining Services Team Members to monitor food production and ensure timely, efficient service.
• Prepare meals by following established recipes and procedures, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Accurately estimate and prepare the right quantity of food to meet guest demand.
• Be knowledgeable about dietary needs and respond to guest inquiries with professionalism.
• Follow all food safety guidelines, sanitation practices, and cleanliness guidelines.
• Follow safety procedures with chemicals, kitchen items, and operating equipment, wearing PPE as required.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas to enhance workflow and access to supplies.
• Work closely with Dining Services Team to deliver high-quality meals for guests.
• Identify and report maintenance needs for Dining Services equipment to minimize downtime.
• Effectively communicate with dining staff, colleagues, and supervisors regarding incidents or issues.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support Dining Services operations.
