Vista Senior Living Management is seeking a Cook for a part-time and full-time role at our Wisconsin facilities. The position requires proven cooking experience, strong sanitation adherence, and the ability to work in a team. Compensation is $20.00–$21.00 per hour with varied shifts, including weekends and weekday options.

Responsibilities include preparing meals, stocking, and maintaining a clean, orderly kitchen while delivering high-quality meals to residents.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a cook.
• Experience with cutting tools, cookware and bakeware.
• Knowledge of grilling, baking, boiling cooking methods.
• Ability to follow sanitation procedures.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Good physical stamina for kitchen work.
• HS diploma or culinary school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
• Prepare ingredients for cooking (chopping, peeling vegetables, cutting meat).
• Cook food using various utensils or grillers.
• Check food while cooking and stir/turn as needed.
• Ensure presentation by dressing dishes before serving.
• Serve meals to residents.
• Maintain a sanitized, orderly kitchen environment.
• Store food and items properly and monitor stock.
• Check quality of ingredients and place orders when shortages arise.
