Job summary

Levy Restaurants is seeking a CULINARY COLD PREP COOK for Utah Jazz & Utah Mammoth at the Delta Center. Pay is $18.00 hourly with an expected start in early fall for pre-season events.

This role supports the culinary team by preparing fresh cold items, salads, and accompaniments for events, ensuring safe handling and presentation. The position emphasizes teamwork in a fast-paced venue setting, with the possibility of evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain a valid Utah Food Handler Permit or Food Safety Manager Certificate.
• Cold prep, kitchen, culinary, or food production experience is preferred but not required.
• Basic knife skills and knowledge of cutting techniques are preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Wash, chop, slice, dice, measure, and prepare fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients.
• Prepare cold food items such as salads, appetizers, desserts, sauces, dressings, and cold condiments.
• Assemble ingredients and finished products while maintaining proper presentation standards.
• Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and production instructions accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift.
• Follow all Levy, Delta Center, food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety procedures.
