Job summary

Sur La Table is seeking a part-time Kitchen Assistant to support our chefs and ensure smooth class operations while engaging with guests in a hospitality-focused environment. The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen space.

Ideal candidates possess strong communication, problem-solving abilities, and at least 1 year of retail or kitchen experience, along with a valid Food Handlers Certification.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1 year retail sales experience preferred.
• 1 year food prep and/or kitchen operations experience preferred.
• Valid Food Handlers Certification required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent Sur La Table brand and culture by creating memorable, educational experiences for guests.
• Assist chefs with class execution to drive enrollment and yield positive feedback.
• Support kitchen operations, maintain cleanliness, and ensure safety and sanitation.
• Maintain inventory and assist with restocking and organization of kitchen supplies.
