Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older at time of employment.
• 1 year retail sales experience, preferred.
• 1 year food prep and/or kitchen operations experience, preferred.
• Valid Food Handlers Certification.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Passion for community engagement and providing exceptional customer experiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and retail systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent Sur La Table’s brand by creating memorable, educational experiences for guests.
• Assist chefs with class execution to drive repeat visits and positive feedback.
• Help achieve class revenue goals through high enrollment, reviews, and guest return visits.
• Set up and breakdown of classes; prep ingredients and maintain clean workstations.
• Ensure food safety, health code compliance, and sanitation standards.
• Maintain inventory levels and support store readiness and safety.
